Dr. Farrokh Zandi is a member of the Coordinating Committee and spokesperson for the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Phoenix Project Inc. as well as the Coordinator of the Economics Research Group.
He is a professor of economics as well as the associate director of undergraduate programs and the director of international business at Schulich Business School. He has also taught at other Canadian universities, including McGill University in Montreal. He received his doctorate in economics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and completed his undergraduate degree in economics and business management at Pahlavi University in Shiraz. His areas of expertise are international trade and finance, public economic policy and monetary economics. Farrokh Zandi has published several research articles in prestigious economic journals and has collaborated with several economic journals.
Dr. Zandi works as an Iranian economics expert with various Persian-language media. He has also received awards including the Top Teaching Award at Schulich Business School. He has worked as an economic adviser to various public and private entities, including the Canadian Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture of the State of Ontario, Canada, the Ministry of Immigration and Human Resources of Canada, the Economic Council of Canada, the Ministry of Agriculture of China and Banking of Fujian Province, and the Ministry of Economy of China.
