Dr. Armand Ash-Rafzadeh (Ash) is a member of the Coordinating Committee and spokesperson for the Phoenix Project Communication Group. He is also responsible for coordinating the research group “Information and Technology” and “Tourism” in this think tank.

 Armand Ash-Rafzadeh holds BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECE), and a post-doctorate in Bio-Medical Engineering.

Dr. Ash-Rafzadeh has been the Lead Professor of System Engineering and Systems Thinking and an Associate Professor of EECE. His research has been in areas such as digital signal processing, modeling and simulation, ultrasound blood flow analysis, and more.

Dr. Ash-Rafzadeh is a board member of the International Council on Systems Engineering, SAE standard committees, life member of IEEE, and a board member of the Management College Advisory Committee at Lawrence Technological University “LTU”.

He has also been a CEO of Mechatronics Inc. since 1993, providing specialized services in digital computing. He is a senior technical expert in the automotive and aerospace industries as well as a member of the General Council of Willesboro Industries.
